The River Valley District has had a major set back that needs
everyone's prayers. The District President, Bret A. Clancy, has
resigned due to an accepted position as Food Service Director
in Moberly, MO. The Vice President, Allen Henry, is resigning for
marriage reasons. As a result, the property for the Jamboree
2010 may not be available.
Dale Lorefeld, Director of the Lutheran Pioneers, National
Headquarters, has been notified of the situation. Until
successors can be found, Chris Redning, District Secretary
507-351-0239 will be the contact person for decisions
concerning the District.
It is the intent of Bret Clancy to continue to keep the District
website current and all pertinent information should still be
forwarded to him at clancysgrowinginchrist@yahoo.com.
The Fate of the District is in the hands of those who choose to
step forward and continue to lead the children in the way of the
Lord through Christian activities with God's help.
